Who Should Partner Up?

• One Baseliner and one All Court Player who is comfortable at the baseline and willing to move forward.

How They Need to Play to Win

• Hit low through the middle to get them to pop up their volleys

• Hit a short ball to draw them in, then lob over the backhand side

• One or both players should move forward if they have to retreat

• Be willing to run down every ball

How to Strategically Beat Them

• Control the net by playing two up

• Finish points by angling the ball off the court

• Defend the lob

• Protect the middle of the court

​

Required Mindset to Beat Them

• Recognize there is no obvious target with both players back

• Be patient you will have to deal with the lob

• Be strategic in your ball placement, hit it to the empty court and get them scrambling

• Be offensive and take the net
