Tough Times Never Last

What a strange and scary time we find ourselves in. Day by day, hour by hour and minute by minute our everyday world is changing. I woke up yesterday and went to work. I won't say as usual because there was nothing usual about it. Usually, the club's parking lot is packed and I have to drive around looking for a spot. Usually, I have to wait in a line to get checked into the club. Usually, the club is buzzing with members. Today, I parked right away, walked right in to a virtually empty club, and it was eerily quiet. By 5pm we got the word that we too would be closing for a few weeks.

Now we all find ourselves at home. At home with no March Madness, no Masters and no TENNIS!! I thought back to when I was younger (100 years ago) before there were all of these beautiful indoor courts. In the winter we watched matches, practiced perfect strokes by shadow swinging, worked on core strength, read books....you get the idea.

To help all my tennis friends get through this time, I will offer up a daily dose of tennis. We will be back on the courts before you know it!!
